MANI MONDAY: FRANKENSTEIN NAILS FOR HALLOWEEN

Hi! Today's manicure is Halloween themed since it's already a few days away. I decided to go a bit more elaborate and fun than last year and I had tons of ideas in mind but I went for this cute manicure featuring Frankenstein and his wife :) I had fun doing it and and hope you do as well! Follow the steps below to recreate it!

Hola! El manicure de hoy es con la temática de Halloween, ya que ya está a pocos días. Me decidí a ir un poco más elaborado y divertido que el año pasado y tuve muchas ideas en mente, pero me fui por este manicure lindo que tiene como enfoque principal a Frankenstein y su esposa :) Me divertí mucho haciéndolo y espero que ustedes también! Sigan los siguientes pasos para poder crearlo!

Start by applying a base coat to protect your nails, followed by 2 coats of green nail polish.

Comienza aplicando una base para proteger tus uñas y a continuación aplica 2 capas de esmalte verde. 

With the black striper, draw lines on your pinky, index and thumb to simulate stitches.

Con el esmalte negro para decorar, dibuja lineas en los 3 dedos como ven en la foto para simular costuras.

Next, we're painting Frankenstein on one of the blank nails. First, draw the hair with the striper or with help of a toothpick.

Ahora vamos a pintar a Frankenstein. En una de las uñas que quedaron, dibuja el cabello con ayuda de un palillo.

Add the other details in black: eyes, brow, and mouth.

Agrega los otros detalles en negro: ojos, cejas y boca.

Add a small white dot over the black to complete the eyes.

Coloca un puntito blanco sobre los puntos negros para terminar los ojos.

Now with Frankenstein's wife: with black polish draw a curved line on the upper half of the nail for the hair and fill it up. Add two small dots for the eyes and tiny lines for the lashes. Finally the mouth.

Ahora con la esposa de Frankenstein: con esmalte negro dibuja una linea curva en la mitad de la uña y rellena para crear el pelo. Para los ojos coloca 2 puntitos negros y rayitas para las pestañas. Finalmente dibuja la boca.

Add the white details: tiny white dots for the eyes and squiggly lines on the sides of her hair.

Agrega los detalles en blanco: 2 mini puntitos para los ojos y lineas onduladas a los lados de su cabello.

 *Not pictured: I added a dab of red for her lips :)* 

Seal in your design with top coat once it's dry to prevent smudging.

Sella tu diseño con brillo una vez esté seco para evitar que se corra.
