MANI MONDAY: BRAID NAILS

Today I'm sharing with you a pretty manicure that "braids" three colors together and looks much more complicated than it really is. I had been letting my nails grow a bit for this specific manicure since I don't think it looks as nice on really short nails. As always, you can use the combination of colors you like the most. Hoy voy a compartir con ustedes un manicure muy bonito que "trenza" tres colores y parece mucho más complicado de lo que realmente es. Había estado dejado que mis uñas crecieran un poco para este manicure específica ya que no creo que se ve tan bonito en las uñas muy cortas. Como siempre, pueden utilizar la combinación de colores que más les guste. Espero que lo disfruten, y si tratan de hacerlo, compartan sus fotos conmigo :)

 You will need: Gold (O.P.I- Glitzerland), Purple (Sally Hansen- Lacey Lilac), Aqua (O.P.I)

Necesitan: Dorado (O.P.I- Glitzerland), Morado (Sally Hansen- Lacey Lilac), Aqua (O.P.I)

 Start by applying a base coat. Once it's dry, apply two coats of your first color; I'm using gold.

Comienza aplicando una base. Cuando ya esta seca, aplica 2 capas del primer color; yo usé dorado.

 With the second color draw a line from one corner of the nail to the other side. Don't worry if its too thick or not complete as most of it will be covered as you add more layers.

Con el segundo color dibuja una línea de una esquina de la uña hacia el otro lado. No te preocupes si la línea es muy gruesa o no llega completamente al otro extremo ya que se irá cubriendo al agregar más capas.

 Repeat on the other side with the third color. 

Repite en el otro lado con el tercer color.

 When the first layers have started to dry, draw the next line with the first color. Try to overlap the first line (aqua) a bit.

Cuando las primeras capas han comenzado a secar, dibuja la siguiente línea con el primer color. Trata que quede un poquito sobre la primera linea (aqua).

 Continue the process switching the colors as you go. Try to draw 3-4 lines per side, the design will look better this way.

Continúa el proceso cambiando los colores en el mismo orden. Trata de dibujar unicamente 3-4 lineas por lado, el diseño se verá mejor de esta manera.

When you're done, let the design dry for a bit and clean up the edges. Next, apply top coat to protect your manicure.

Una vez has terminado, deja secar por un rato y limpia los bordes. Luego, aplica brillo para proteger tu manicure.
