Today's manicure is also related to Christmas! No surprise here right? I'm starting off with a simple candy cane design.
El manicure de hoy está también relacionado a la Navidad! No es sorpresa :p Hoy comenzaré con un diseño muy sencillo con lineas que harán ver tus uñas como los bastones de menta.
You will need: White nail polish, Red nail polish (I used a shimmery red- "Get Reddy" by Revlon), tape, and scissors.
Necesitan: Esmalte blanco, esmalte rojo (use uno con brillos- "Get Reddy" de Revlon), cinta adhesiva y tijeras.
Start by applying a base coat and 2 coats of white polish. Let it dry completely.
Comienza aplicando una base y 2 capas de esmalte blanco. Deja secar por completo.
Cut strips of tape in a variety of widths and place them on your nail. The placement of different widths will give you the candy cane effect.
Corta tiras de cinta adhesiva en una variedad de grosores y colócalas en tus uñas. La colocación a diferentes separaciones te dará el efecto del dulce.
Apply the red nail polish all over your nails.
Aplica esmalte rojo sobre todas las uñas.
And carefully remove the tape one by one. Clean up the edges with a cotton swab and nail polish remover. Add top coat to smooth out the design.
Y quita la cinta adhesiva una por una con mucho cuidado. Limpia los bordes que hayas manchado con removedor de esmalte. Agrega brillo para sellar el diseño.
