MASCARA REVIEW: MAYBELLINE XXL VOLUME + LENGTH MICROFIBER MASCARA

Woohoo!! This is the first of the many (jeje) mascara reviews I'll be making :) I have so many and since I watched some videos Alicia, a fellow youtuber, was making I decided to add on to the list she started. I'm also posting this review series as a way to show you some of the gazzillion mascaras you can find on the marked nowadays and that way you can see the formula and the effect each one has on the eyelashes. I hope you enjoy them and that they help you decide on a new mascara you may want to try! 

Today I'm starting with a mascara that I've had for a loooong time. I can't even remember when I got it and I don't think it's being sold anymore :S I think that's kinda bad but it still works very very well so why throw it away? This is Maybelline's XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara. I know the name says it has microfibers but I never saw them so yeah… don't thinks that's true. The formula is still pretty wet therefore it works nicely when it comes to covering up the white primer which helps give the lashes a ton of volume and length. The downside to this is that it's kinda messy and it makes the lashes somewhat crunchy :s but over all I like it a lot.

Este es la primera de las muchas (jeje) reseñas de máscara de pestañas/rímel que voy a estar haciendo :) Tengo tantos y desde que vi algunos videos que Alicia, una compañera YouTuber, estaba haciendo me decidí a añadir a la lista que empezó. También estoy publicando esta serie de reseñas como una manera de mostrarles algunas de las taaaaantas máscaras que pueden encontrar en el marcado hoy en día y de esa manera puedan ver la fórmula y el efecto que cada una tiene en las pestañas. Espero que les guste y que les ayuden a decidir en una nueva máscara de pestañas que deseen probar!

Hoy estoy empezando con una máscara de pestañas que he tenido por un laaaargo tiempo. Ni siquiera puedo recordar cuando lo tengo y no creo que lo sigan vendiendo :s creo que es algo malo, pero todavía funciona muy muy bien así que ¿por qué tirarla a la basura? Se trata de la Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara. Sé que el nombre dice que tiene microfibras pero yo nunca los vi así que aja ... no creo que eso sea cierto. La fórmula todavía está bastante húmeda, por tanto, funciona muy bien cuando se trata de encubrir el primer blanco que ayuda a dar a las pestañas una tonelada de volumen y longitud. La desventaja de esto es que es fácil mancharse los párpados y hace que las pestañas se vean un poco tostadas :s pero en general, me gusta mucho.
