This week's Mani Monday is a pretty curved chevron pattern manicure in different shades of green (I was also wearing my great grandma's emerald ring). The process is very simple, but it does take some time to complete. As always, feel free to mix and match the colors as you like :)
El Mani Monday de esta semana es un manicure muy bonito en patron de "chevron" curvo en diferentes tonos de verde (complementa el anillo de mi bisabuelita que llevaba puesto). El proceso es muy sencillo, pero toma algo de tiempo en completarse. Como siempre, sientanse libres de combinar los colores como les guste :)
Start by applying a base coat and once it's dry, paint 4 of your nails with the darkest color and the 5th one with the lightest.
Comienza aplicando una base y cuando esté seca, pinta 4 de tus uñas con el color mas oscuro y la 5ta con el color mas claro.
Once it's completely dry, use reinforcement stickers cut in half to create the first curved chevron shape.
Una vez esta completamente seco, usa refuerzos para papel, cortados a la mitad, para crear la forma curva.
Apply the second color on every nail and once dry remove the stickers.
Aplica el segundo color en todas las uñas y una vez seco, remueve los refuerzos.
Repeat the process once again and paint the 4 nails (where you started with the darkest) with the lightest color, and the remaining one with the darkest. Let it dry and carefully remove the stickers.
Repite el proceso otra vez y pinta las 4 uñas (donde comenzamos con el color oscuro) con el color mas claro y la uña restante con el mas oscuro. Deja secar y remueve los refuerzos con cuidado.
Apply top coat to smooth out and seal your design :) You are done! I think it looks really nice (even though I kinda messed up on some nails...wasn't very patient).
Aplica el brillo para alisar y sellar el diseño :) Y listo! Que les parece? A mi me gusta mucho (aunque medio arruiné unas uñas por falta de paciencia :p)
