MANI MONDAY: ABSTRACT FLOWERS

For this week's manicure I decided to go for a feminine design with abstract flowers using light colors. Remember you can use the combination of colors you like. Below you can find the list of materials needed and the step by step to achieve this manicure :) 

Para el manicure de esta semana decidí hacer un diseño femenino con flores abstractas usando colores claros. Recuerden que pueden utilizar la combinación de colores que más les guste. A continuación pueden encontrar la lista de los materiales necesarios y el paso a paso para lograr este manicure :)

You will need: Sheer Nude nail polish for the base, Black, Purple, Pink, and Green nail polish for the flowers; a small nail art brush and a tiny dotting tool (you can use a toothpick), base coat, and top coat. 

Necesitas: Esmalte nude claro para la base, Esmaltes negro, morado, rosado y verde para las flores; un pincel pequeño para nail art y una herramienta para puntear, base y brillo.

 Start by applying base coat and once dry, 2-3 thin coats of nude nail polish.

Comienza aplicando la base y una vez seca, aplica 2 a 3 capas finas del esmalte nude.

 When it's dry, proceed to drawing abstract flower/star shapes with the nail art brush and pink polish. Don't worry too much about the shape of your flowers :)

Cuando esté seco, comienza a dibujar las flores abstractas con el pincel y esmalte rosado. Como ven, lo hice como en forma de estrellitas. La verdad que no deben preocuparse mucho por que las formas de las flores queden perfectas :)

 Repeat the previous step using the purple polish. Add the flowers in the empty spaces. I only covered a "C" shape on my nail and not all the way around, I think it looks better this way.

Repite el paso anterior usando el esmalte morado. Agrega las flores en los espacios en blanco. Yo solo cubrí un área en forma de "C" en mi uña y no todo el contorno, creo que se ve mucho mejor así :)

 Now add the leaves with the brush. Draw "v" shapes for 2 leaves and single leaves in the smaller spaces. 

Ahora agrega las hojas con el pincel. Dibuja formas en "v" para 2 hojas, y pequeñas hojas sencillas en los espacios más pequeños. 

 Finally, add tiny dots on the center of the flowers with the dotting tool and black nail polish. Once you're done, clean the edges and apply topcoat to smooth the design.

Finalmente agrega pequeños puntitos con esmalte negro en los centros de las flores. Una vez terminas, limpia los bordes y agrega brillo para sellar el diseño.
