Today's manicure was inspired by one of this season's popular trends we have been seeing a lot of.. Tartan (plaid). This trend is very bold and has been widely used in everything; clothing, handbags, shoes, and other accessories. But sometimes some women don't like or dare to wear this print in large scale, that's why I decided to create this manicure :) It's a way to wear plaid in a more discrete manner. Below you can see the step by step instructions to recreate this manicure. Enjoy!
El manicure de hoy fue inspirado en una de las tendencias más populares de esta temporada.. Tartán (tela escocesa). Esta tendencia ha sido ampliamente utilizada en todo; ropa, bolsos, zapatos y otros accesorios. Pero a veces, algunas mujeres no les gusta o se atreven a usar este estampado en gran escala, es por eso que decidí crear este manicure :) Es una manera de llevar la tendencia del tartán de una manera más discreta. Abajo pueden encontrar las instrucciones paso a paso para recrearlo. Que lo disfruten!
I used: Red (ORLY "Red Flare"), Black and yellow stripers (Darosa) and White (Darosa)
Utilicé: Rojo (ORLY "Red Flare"), Negro y amarillo (esmalte con pincel fino Darosa) y Blanco (Darosa)
Start by applying a base and 2 coats of red polish.
Comienza aplicando una base y luego 2 capas de esmalte rojo.
Next draw a horizontal line in white close to de tip of the nail.
Luego pinta una linea horizontal en blanco cerca de la punta de la uña.
Once it's dry, draw three horizontal lines with the black striper: one on each side of the white line and the third in the middle.
Cuando ya se ha secado el blanco, continúa trazando con negro tres lineas horizontales finas: Una a cada lado de la linea blanca y una en el centro.
The next step is to draw 2 vertical lines with the black striper. These lines will go on the right side of the nail. Don't worry if you get polish on your fingers, we'll clean this at the end.
Después dibujamos 2 lineas verticales finas también en negro. Estas irán al lado derecho de la uña. No te preocupes si manchas tus dedos, al final limpiaremos todo.
Now with the yellow striper, draw 2 fine lines in "t" shape towards the left side of the nail.
Luego, con el amarillo, traza 2 lineas finas en forma de "t" al lado izquierdo de la uña.
Finally, apply a top coat to seal the design. Once you're done, proceed to clean all the edges that were stained with a cotton swab and polish remover.
Finalmente aplica brillo para sellar el diseño. Una vez has finalizado, con un hisopo y removedor de esmalte limpia con cuidado los bordes de los dedos que se hayan manchado.
